Step 1: On the side navigation bar, go to Settings, and select ‘Academic Year’. Under Academic Year, click the ‘Semester’. A Semester page will show.

Step 2: On the Semester page, click the ‘Add Semester’ button on the upper-right side. A pop-up window will show.

Step 3: Select the ‘Academic Year‘ from the Academic Year drop-down menu.

Step 4: Select the ‘Semester’ from the Semester drop-down menu.

Step 5: Select the ‘Student Category’ from the Student Category drop-down menu.

Step 6: Once completed, click the ‘Save’ button.

Once the Semester is created, it is important to set up the Status of the Semester. There are five actions to set for every Semester. It includes ‘Active’, ‘Inactive’, ‘Upcoming’, ‘Past’, and ‘Unlisted’. To set the status on the Semester, just click the specific action.
